We make every effort to price each individual horse according to his individual qualities - i.e. conformation, movement, character, temperament, athletic ability, age. We also make every effort to match our horses with the right new owners. All prices in U.S. dollars, and are subject to change.
 

t Beaver Dam Farm, we’ve developed a reputation for matching our horses to their new owners. We care very much that we sell you the right horse, and wouldn’t dream of suggesting anything else. We do this as much for the horse’s sake as for the buyer’s, and we’d rather lose a sale than sell an unsuitable horse, because . . . . When the papers are signed and the money passes hands, we want a new friend, not a disgruntled customer.

We don’t hide anything . . . We tell everything about our sale horses, the great and not so great. We want you to be absolutely delighted with your choice.

Our reputation has taken 27 years to make . . . We aim to keep it.

Transportation? We can arrange transport with a good carrier at a reasonable cost. Example: Beaver Dam Farm to Maryland (layover stable for trips west), for about $600.

Duty/Fees? - There’s no duty or quarantine into the U.S. Only a Coggins and International Health Certificate, and we can arrange those things for you.

Training? All our horses are trained every day of their lives. Along with formal training to ride and drive, we consider that - “Every time we touch or lead our horses, it’s a training session.”

To make sure all Beaver Dam Farm horses get enough training, we employ sufficient numbers of people to realize those goals. Because a well-trained, safe, and pleasant horse just doesn’t happen without qualified people putting the hours into that effort. Our Fjords are not left to languish in the field.
